The device has a base part (11) and a country specific electrical plug adapter (12). The adapter is adapted to be secured to the base part, for insertion of the device into a line socket. The adapter is locked in mounted position using a locking unit without using a tool. The adapter is detached from the base part after unlocking the locking unit. The unit has detent projection for fitting into a detent recess.
