PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To locate an unexpected crime or disaster occurring even in a situation where a portable telephone network cannot be utilized. SOLUTION: An LED 2, a beacon 3, an alarm buzzer 4, and a select switch 5 sharing a battery 9 are built in a portable telephone body 1. The LED 2 and the alarm buzzer 4 are operated for a crime prevention or short distance SOS call, and the beacon 3 is operated for a long distance SOS call.
