PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure release valve 11 that restricts entering of dust or ejection of contents such as electrolyte, the pressure release valve 11 being provided in a sealing plate for a condenser or capacitor and opening to release pressure when pressure in a pressure vessel exceeds a predetermined value. SOLUTION: A space 12 for attaching a valve having a shape that opens at an inner side of a pressure vessel and closes at an outer side thereof in a sealing plate 4, and a valve body 19 forming a valve body of a pressure release valve 11 is disposed in the space 12. A communication hole 15 is provided in a partition wall 13 for partitioning between the space 12 and the outside of the vessel. To prevent shift of the valve body 19 due to pressure and the like, a step-like engaging portions 16, 17 are provided on the inside of the space 12, or stay-like engaging portions are provided on the periphery of the valve body 19.
