<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the support structure of a reforming apparatus, which has high stability and suppresses heat release to a minimum. <P>SOLUTION: The support structure 40 supporting the reforming apparatus 20 comprises: a plurality of upper support members 41 which are suspended from the periphery of a bottom part of a CO shift section 23 so that they are arranged at certain intervals in a horizontal direction, respectively; a plate member 42 which is disposed opposite to the bottom face of the CO shift section 23 below the bottom face and on which the lower ends of the upper support members 41 are fixed; and a plurality of lower support members 43 which are suspended from the plate member 42 and stand on a lower plate member 47 (a bottom face A1 in an enclosure A) so that they are arranged at certain intervals in a horizontal direction, respectively.
