PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the loss of an inverter due to increase in supply voltage or the like to fill up a deficiency in motor torque when the number of revolutions of the motor is increased and its torque becomes insufficient.
SOLUTION: A power conversion system includes a first power supply (100) and a second power supply (101); a first power conversion circuit (102) and a second power conversion circuit (103); a control circuit (105) that controls the first and second power conversion circuits; and a motor (104). When the number of motor revolutions is lower than a predetermined value, direct-current power from the first and second power supplies is converted into alternating-current power through the first and second power conversion circuits and it is supplied to the motor. When the number of motor revolutions is equal to or higher than the predetermined value, direct-current power arising from the series connection of the first power supply and the second power supply is converted into alternating-current power through the first power conversion circuit and it is supplied to the motor. At the same time, direct-current power arising from the series connection of the first power supply and the second power supply is converted into alternating-current power through the second power conversion circuit and it is supplied to the motor.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
