An optical fiber rewinding apparatus is provided to be a complete automatic optical fiber rewinding apparatus capable of automatically performing the series of processes from a rewinding process to a taping process of an optical fiber. An optical fiber rewinding apparatus includes a pay-off unit(10), a cutting unit(50), a take-up unit(70), a tape supply unit(80), a taping unit(90), a tension control unit(20), a feeding unit(30), a guiding unit(40), and a traversing unit(60). The pay-off unit feeds an optical fiber to be rewound. The cutting unit cuts the optical fiber in a predetermined length. The take-up unit winds the optical fiber. The tape supply unit supplies with a tape for taping a roll of the optical fiber. The taping unit tapes the wound optical fiber roll. The tension control unit is installed between the pay-off unit and the cutting unit and keeps tension of the optical fiber regular. The feeding unit feeds the optical fiber through the cutting unit to take-up unit. The guiding unit is installed between the cutting unit and the take-up unit and guides the optical fiber to the take-up unit. The traversing unit properly controls a winding position of the optical fiber in the take-up unit.
