COLD AND HOT PURIFIER HAVING FUNCTION FOR ALKALINE WATER PRODUCTION

A water purifier is provided to make it possible to generate healthful alkaline water, by using a filter having a purifying function and a UV sterilizer having a UV sterilizing function and an alkalescent water generating function. An alkaline carbon filter(60) is exchangeably installed within a body casing(10) separately from a filter(24). The alkaline carbon filter is connected to a body faucet(70) installed at one side of the body casing. A UV sterilizer(50) is installed at an upper side of the body casing, wherein the UV sterilizer has a UV sterilizing function and an alkalescent water generating function. A raw water pipe(56), into which raw water is inputted, is connected to one side of the UV sterilizer. A supply pipe(52) is connected to the other side of the UV sterilizer, wherein the supply pipe is diverged into the alkaline carbon filter and the filter. Alkalescent water generated by the UV sterilizer is supplied to the alkaline carbon filter and the filter through a filter pipe and a body pipe(26).
