A digital complex relay with a built-in USB(Universal Serial Relay) interface and a data storing method are provided to improve reliability and security by directly checking the main cause of errors in the field without transmitting data and to increase the capacity of memory. A digital complex relay with a built-in USB interface includes an abnormal power detecting unit(10), a central processing unit(110), and a USB interface(70). The abnormal power detecting unit(10) detects abnormal power. The central processing unit(110) generates an alarm signal and automatically blocks the power according to an abnormality signal detected from the abnormal power detecting unit. The USB interface receives the abnormality signal and event information transmitted from the central processing unit, and stores the data and information in an external memory.
