A plasma display panel is provided to reduce capacitance between address electrodes to reduce power consumption by assigning two address electrodes to every single pixel. A plasma display panel includes a front and rear substrates(110,140) facing each other, a barrier rib(170), first and second display electrodes(122,124), address electrodes(150), a lower electric layer(160), and an electron releasing material layer(162). The barrier rib is formed between the front and the rear substrates, and serves to partition electric discharge cells in order that three nearest electric discharge cells for emitting visible lights whose colors are different from each other constitute a single pixel. The first and the second display electrodes are formed between the front and the rear substrates. The address electrodes are configured in order that two address electrodes correspond to every single pixel. The lower dielectric layer is configured to encompass the address electrodes. The electron releasing material is formed on the lower dielectric layer. |
