<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a PON system with which signal intensity of optical signals transmitted from an ONU is optimized in operation. <P>SOLUTION: The PON system is constituted so that an OLT 1 permits continuous transmission of the optical signal for prescribed time or longer to the ONU 4, when a signal intensity measurement part 16 measures the signal intensity of the optical signal transmitted from the ONU 4, a correction value creation part 17 generates a correction value of a transmission level according to the signal intensity of the optical signal measured by the signal intensity measurement part 16 and the ONU 4 adjusts the transmission level of the optical signal according to the correction value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
