PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique using a deformation member increasing operation speed and changeable in length of an outer shape while preventing damaging of the deformation member. SOLUTION: A valve seat 32 has a fuel injection port 32d. The fuel injection port 32d is closed when a contact face 43a of a valve 41 is abutted with a seal face 32b of a valve seat 32. An elastic force of a spring 56 acts in a direction moving the valve 41 so that the fuel injection hole 32d is closed. When a magnetostrictor 52 is extended, the valve 41 is moved in a direction opening the fuel injection hole 32d against the elastic force of the spring 56. A belleville spring 53 with elastically compressed is disposed between the valve 41 and the magnetostrictor 52. The impact when the valve 41 is abutted with the magnetostrictor 52 is absorbed by the elastic force of the belleville spring 53. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
