PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit capable of performing image signal processing using bits of digital data of an image signal optimized to each of desired image processing to obtain high image quality, although the scale of the circuit is small. SOLUTION: A 10-bit image signal data A is supplied to a bit dividing circuit 11 and bits are divided. An 8-bit B of higher orders (MSB (Most Significant Bit) side) is supplied to a memory circuit 13 for accumulating images and an arithmetic circuit 12a. After a predetermined operation processing is performed by the arithmetic circuit 12a, the result E is outputted. A 2-bit C, which is divided from the 10-bit image signal data A by the bit dividing circuit 11 and is not supplied to the memory circuit 13 and the arithmetic circuit 12a, is supplied an addition circuit 14 through an arithmetic circuit 12b, respectively.
