PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target device capable of performing elevating and hiding/appearing action of a target with easy control and easily performing a quick hiding/appearing action. SOLUTION: In the target device, a moving carriage 13 capable of running is provided with first and second drum units, a hanging beam 41 is supported by a first elevating wire suspended from the first drum unit, a target 45 is freely rotatably provided to the hanging beam 41, a second elevating wire 37 suspended from the second drum unit is mounted on a lever 46 integrally rotating with the target 45, the target 45 moves vertically by synchronized drive of the first and second drum units, and the target 45 rotates by drive of the second drum unit via the lever 46 to perform the hiding/appearing action.
