PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inside diagnosing device of a trunk capable of accurately diagnosing the inside state of the trunk in a non-destructive manner. SOLUTION: In the inside diagnosing method of the trunk for diagnosing whether the inside of the trunk 2 is normal in a non-destructive manner by applying vibration to the inside of the trunk 2 and receiving the vibration to analyze a frequency component, the trunk 2 is struck to apply vibration to the trunk 2 and the vibration is received as a sonic wave by a microphone 7 arranged in a non-contact state with respect to the trunk 2 to receive the sonic wave from many azimuths. A resonance frequency F is detected from the frequency component of the received sonic wave and compared with the resonance frequency F in a case that the inside of the trunk 2 is normal to diagnose the inside of the trunk 2.
