FIELD: mechanics. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises housing, drive (1) and driven (6) shafts. Drive shaft (1) supports several gears (2) each disabled to angular shifts relative to the drive shaft and in mesh with other gear (3) not fitted on the drive shaft. The gears radius-to-radius ratio is different for all pairs of gears in mesh. Every aforesaid gear (3) is fitted on shaft (4). Axes of rotation of shafts (4), axis of rotation of driven shaft (6) and that of drive shaft (1) lie in the same plane. Axes of rotation of shafts (4) supporting gears (3) and axis of rotation of driven shaft (6) are perpendicular to the axis of rotation of drive shaft (1). All aforesaid gears represent bevel gears. It is possible to disengage driven shaft and that supporting the gear not fitted on the drive shaft and to shift housing along the driven shaft axis. ^ EFFECT: ruling out impact loads on varying gear ratio. ^ 1 dwg
