An exhaust system for a cooking appliance is provided to effectively use a filter by connecting an exhaust space between a filter and a filter mounting part with a plurality of perforations arranged over the entire surface. An exhaust system for a cooking appliance comprises a cavity, an exhaust part(300) in which wall surface of the cavity is recessed; a filter mounting part(310) defining as an upper space of the exhaust part; an exhaust hole(330) expelling indoor air of the cavity, provided in the bottom of the exhaust part; a filter(320) mounted to the filter mounting part; and an exhaust space(340) formed between the bottom of the filter and the bottom of the filter mounting part.
