A satellite broadcasting system and apparatus of a vehicle are provided to use an antenna having the same gain value regardless of a car model, thereby applying easily the satellite broadcasting system to various kinds of vehicles. The satellite broadcasting system(400) of a vehicle includes an antenna unit(410) and an audio/video processing unit(430). The antenna unit wirelessly receives a RF(Radio Frequency) signal through an antenna(412) from a satellite. The antenna unit processes the RF signal to convert the processed signal into a digital signal. The audio/video processing unit is connected to the antenna unit through a cable. The audio/video processing unit decodes the received digital signal.
