摘要 A full-automatic welding robot for submerged arc welding is provided to perform welding automatically even on a curved surface by extracting information on the curved shape and automatically changing welding condition. A full-automatic welding robot for submerged arc welding is composed of a self-travel unit, a front wheel steering unit, and a rear wheel steering unit. The self-travel unit comprises four wheels(102a,102b) installed on a welding robot body(101), a travel motor(111) driving the four wheels, a travel gear part(112) delivering the power of the travel motor to the front and the rear wheels through a principal shaft(113), front and rear wheel side bevel gears(114) receiving the power transferred through the principal shaft, a universal joint(115) delivering the power of the front and the rear wheel side bevel gear to the wheels, and a clutch(116) which makes and blocks the connection of the power of the principal shaft.
