METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A MAGNESIUM ALLOY BILLET AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A MAGNESIUM ALLOY BILLET EXTRUSION MEMBER

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of magnesium alloy billet and a manufacturing method of the magnesium alloy billet are provided to improve surface of the magnesium alloy billet with cleaning of magnesium molten metal restricting firing in a continuous casting process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of magnesium alloy billet comprises the following steps: preparing magnesium molten metal containing calcium in a mold(S100); producing jould heat and electromechanical power inside the molten metal by using a high-frequency current(S200); and preparing the billet with mixing power by using an electromagnet stirrer on slab of the molten metal(S300). The weight of the calcium included in the magnesium molten metal is 0.5 weight% - 2 weight%.
