COMPOSITION COMPRISING DICYCLOHEXYL PHTHALATE COMPOUND SHOWING REGULATORY EFFECT ON P21 FOR THE PREVENTION AND TREATMENT OF CANCER DISEASE

PURPOSE: A dicyclohexyl phthalate compound which activates p53 expression is provided to suppress growth of cells and proliferates cancer cells and prevent and treat cancer by inducing apoptosis. CONSTITUTION: A dicyclohexyl terephthalate compound which suppresses cancer cell proliferation and induces apoptosis is denoted by chemical formula 1. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating cancer contains 0.01-50 weight% of dichlohexyl terephthalate compound of chemical formula 1 or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt. The cancer is cancer which causes abnormality of p53 gene. The daily dose of the dichlohexyl terephthalate compound is 0.0001~100 mg/kg.
