PURPOSE: A method for issuing a provisional gift certificate and an apparatus thereof are provided to eliminate necessity of separate authentication/security tool installation for electronic commerce. CONSTITUTION: At least one primary payment unit list is saved. Gift certificate issuance request information is inputted. An available secondary payment unit list is received from an authentication server(200). The primary payment unit list is compared with the secondary payment unit list. An available final payment unit list is displayed. Gift certificate information is transmitted to a receiver terminal. |
