FIELD: radio engineering and communications.SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for encoding and decoding of audio/speech. Huffman table may be developed independently by means of large data base of input sequences. In method, interval of quantization indices values (or difference of indices) is defined for encoding by Huffman method. For each value of this interval is assembled all input signals, having same interval of values, and calculating probability distribution of each quantisation index values (or difference of indices) within this interval. For each value of created interval one Huffman table is made in accordance with probability of occurrence of each possible values of input signal.EFFECT: high accuracy of encoding and decoding audio signal.7 cl, 14 dwg |
