PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic control device of an automatic transmission capable of reducing a heating amount of a facing in a frictional engagement element on an engagement side while suppressing shift shock in gear change of upshift.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: In a state where control for reducing turbine rotation speed of a torque converter has been started, according to oil temperature of working fluid and reduction degree of the turbine rotation speed, engagement hydraulic pressure is gradually increased.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
