The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device having no influence in visibility when being restored after having an external force exerted thereon, by changing the arrangement of a column spacer. The liquid crystal display device according to the present invention comprises: a first substrate and a second substrate facing each other; multiple gate lines and multiple data lines for defining pixel areas by crossing each other on the first substrate; a black matrix layer for covering an area except the pixel areas on the first substrate or the second substrate; multiple column spacers which are formed on a horizontal line of the black matrix layer on the second substrate and of which the distance gradually increases from the horizontal line of the black matrix layer as the distance from a central line, which horizontally divides the second substrate in half, increases; and a liquid crystal layer filled between the first substrate and the second substrate. |
