PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a failure in a network which connects a plurality of servers for achieving a redundant configuration.SOLUTION: A redundant configuration system includes: a first information processing system #1 (hub #1) including a first server A1 and second server B1; and a second information processing system #2 (hub #2) connected to the first information processing system over a network, and including a third server A2 and a fourth server B2. The first server A1 includes a first notification section that exchanges a state notification with the third server A2 over the network. The second server B1 includes: a second notification section that exchanges a state notification with the fourth server B2 over the network; and a determination section which acquires information indicating whether the first notification section has exchanged the state notification with the third server A2 upon detection that the second notification section has not exchanged the state notification with the fourth server B2, from the first notification section, and determines whether the first notification section has exchanged the state notification with the third server A2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
