摘要 Provided are a manufacturing method for a liquid crystal display device having less unevenness in height of a spacer which has steps, a radiation-sensitive resin composition used thereto, and a liquid crystal display device. The liquid crystal display device (10) includes: a first substrate (2) and a second substrate (3) which are facing each other; a plurality of spacers (4) disposed on the second substrate (3); an insulation film (5) disposed on the first substrate (2); at least one spacer pedestal (6) disposed on the insulation film (5) at a part facing a front end of the spacer; and a liquid crystal interposed between the first substrate (2) and the second substrate (3). The insulation film (5) disposed on the first substrate (2) and the spacer pedestal (6) disposed on the insulation film (5) are collectively and integrally formed by using the radiation-sensitive resin composition, when forming the insulation film (5) through patterning such that the insulation film (5) has a contact hole (7) and a desired shape.
