The system, designed to be mounted at the output end of a yarn treatment machine, e.g. for steaming, has separate guides for the emerging yarns (3) and a traction take-up assembly with detectors (4, 4') for the presence of yarns, their speed and tension, mounted on a supporting frame (9). The guides are in the form of eyelets on arms attached to the frame in advance of the traction take-up assembly, which comprises at least one rotary cylinder (10) driven at a constant speed by a motor (11) and co-operating with a pressure roller for each yarn. The yarn presence detectors are in the form of a multi-zone sensor that detects different yarn positions. |
