<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video data receiver for quickly acquiring information about the particular data indicating an effective video data region or the like and for quickly taking measures for change in the particular data. <P>SOLUTION: An input video data signal is detected in its positional information with a synchronous detecting block 11 in a receiving module 3.
