<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of restraining a user from viewing directly an image light of high brightness, in a position distant from a projector. <P>SOLUTION: This image projection system is provided with the projector for emitting the image light, an irradiation part for irradiating a peripheral area in the periphery of a projected face with a nonvisible ray, a photoreception part arranged in an outer edge part of the projected face within the peripheral area, and having a photoreception element for receiving the nonvisible ray, and a restraint processing execution part for determining the necessity of executing restraint processing for restraining the user from viewing directly the image light, based on luminous energy at the time when the projector carries out effective projection of projecting the image light, and the restraint processing execution part determines the necessity of executing the restraint processing, based on an output signal from the photoreception element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
