摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more efficiently manufacturing electrode active material with transition metallic phosphorus acid compound as its main component. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing for the electrode active material has a phosphorus acid compound expressed by the following general formula as the main component: A<SB>x</SB>M(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>y</SB>(wherein 0&le;x&le;2, 0<y&le;2, A is alkali metal and M is transition metal). The method consists of preparing a melted state composite containing a supply source for M and a supply source for the phosphor (when x<0, additionally a supply source for A) and annealing the melt.
