<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for more efficiently manufacturing electrode active material with transition metallic phosphorus acid compound as its main component. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing for the electrode active material has a phosphorus acid compound expressed by the following general formula as the main component: A<SB>x</SB>M(PO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>y</SB>(wherein 0≤x≤2, 0<y≤2, A is alkali metal and M is transition metal). The method consists of preparing a melted state composite containing a supply source for M and a supply source for the phosphor (when x<0, additionally a supply source for A) and annealing the melt. This method, for example, is most appropriate for the manufacturing method of the electrode active material with olivine version lithium iron phosphorous acid compound as the main component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
