A payment method based on the confirmation of an original product and a system thereof are provided to make it possible to reliably purchase a product by safely performing the payment according to whether the purchased product is honest. A payment request information including payment information and product information about a product is transmitted to a VAN server(310) from a payment terminal(300). Based on the product information included in the payment request information, a honest product checking system(320) confirms whether the product is honest. The honest product confirmation information corresponding to the checking result is transmitted. By using the payment checking information and honest product confirmation information, the payment approval corresponding to the payment request information is determined. |
