[Also in Division B3] A fishing hook 1 has a lug 2, a stem 3, a first curved portion 4, a second curved portion 5, a tip 6 and a barb 7; and the cross-sectional area of the portion 4 is greater than that of the other portions. The hook is made from a metal sheet 8 rolled or grooved at 9, forming an edge 10 (or an anchor shaped tip 17, Fig. 5c, not shown), from which sheet a stamping 11 is cut, the stamping still being integral with the sheet at its uppermost portion. The stamping is then bent to J-shape, an aperture formed in the portion 12; and then the stamping cut away from the sheet. |
