<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer medium which can improve a printing speed and holds desired heat resistance and scratch properties. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer medium, at least a peeling layer, an anchor layer, a metal layer, and an adhesive layer are formed in turn on the base material.
