A method of producing self-protected flux cored wire, at which molding cold-rolled metallic tape into a chute is carried out, the chute is filled for 65± 5% of volume of cavity with charge, the chute is formed into the tube and repeated wire drawing of filled tube is carried out, moreover during production the wire is subject to action of variable longitudinal magnetic field with induction 0.9… 1.1 T and with period of pulsations 0.1… 1 s and simultaneously the vibrations with frequency of 50… 100 Hz are applied, in this case the wire is consecutively passed through the forming draw plate, cylindrical inductance coil with constant density of coil, vacuum tube with rarefied air, calibrating draw plate, and wire drawing is conducted with total deformations of 70… 95 % and single deformations of 5… 10 % at the first passage and 10… 20 % at following passages. |
