A polymer composition contains (1) an aromatic polycarbonate, especially a polymer from bisphonel A and phosgene, (2) 0.5 to 15% by weight, especially 1 to 5%, of an ethylene homopolymer or copolymer containing at least 50% ethylene, and (3) 1 to 40%, especially 10 to 30%, of glass fibres. The polyethylene significantly improves the impact properties of the reinforced polycarbonate. |
