<p>Thermoplastic moulding materials contain a volatile insecticidal organic phosphorus compound of formula (I), and are provided with an outer layer through which the volatile insecticide is capable of migrating: where R = alkyl; X = O or Si; m = a group (II), (III) or (IV); R' = H or alkyl; R" = H, halogen, or alkyl; R'" = alkyl, aryl, aralkyl, or alkanyl; and Z = halogen. The thermoplastic moulding materials are employed as insecticidal elements, the volatile component migrating migrating slowly into the atmosphere.</p> |
