Dental plate cushion prepn

In a dental plate, the teeth are set in a cushion of atmospherically hardened silicon rubber. The cushion already set with teeth, is placed on the patient's gums whilst the silicon rubber is still in a fluid condition, and left there for 45 mins. whilst the cushion takes up the shape the patient's mouth.
