<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery having high energy density and high safety and excellent in charge discharge reversibility (cycle characteristics). <P>SOLUTION: The nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is composed of a negative electrode material, a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a positive electrode material, the nonaqueous electrolyte is a solid electrolyte containing no liquid, at least the negative electrode material out of the negative electrode material and the positive electrode material contains a porous structure material, and the porous structure material is impregnated with the nonaqueous electrolyte.
