1304396 Feeding from a stack of nested articles INTERNATIONAL MACHINERY CORP SA 20 April 1970 [6 May 1969] 18680/70 Heading B8S Nested covers are separated from the bottom of a stack thereof by three rotary knives 8, Figs. 1 and 3 which are each mounted at the end of an angularly adjustable arm 6 so that their distance apart may be adjusted to suit covers of different sizes. The three knives are driven by a common belt 12 and the covers are fed down between the knives. The position of the arms is adjusted by a bolt 15 which passes through an angular slot 14, Fig. 3. If the supply of cams 40, Fig. 1, to be closed fails, this is detected by a device 39 which causes three tongues to be pneumatically projected below the covers to arrest the supply thereof.
