<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source of white LED which has improved light emission efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the light source of white LED formed of an LED element, fluorescent material, and sealing resin member; the sealing resin member comprises a first sealing resin member having the semispherical external shape which is in close contact with the LED element for the sealing purpose; a second sealing resin member having the semispherical external shape which is allocated in the external side of the first sealing resin member keeping a gap thereto; and the fluorescent material which fills the gap between the first sealing resin member and the second sealing resin member. Moreover, this light source of white LED has the first sealing resin member formed as a double-layer member, formed of the sealing resin members of 1a and 1b or is formed as a triple-layer member, formed of the sealing resin members 1a, 1b, and 1c.
