<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of mounting a memory cartridge and to surely mount the memory cartridge to a connector, in a data recording apparatus for attaching and detaching the memory cartridge which stores a memory card forming a data recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The data recording apparatus A can attach and detach the memory cartridge B for storing a memory card DM which is the data recording medium.
