A data transmission control method, a content transmission control method, a content processing information acquisition method, and a content transmission system are provided to control so that plural data can be transmitted in one transmission session, while transmission states of the data can be received through events. Data transmission is requested from a client(S81). Information on entities for being concerned in the data transmission is collected(S82). A chain including at least two entities is formed by using the collected information on the entities(S83). Plural data are transmitted through the chain(S84). An event message indicative of a transmission state of the data transmitted from at least one of the entities included in the chain is received(S85).
