Water separation in the overflow pipes of - steam turbines of nuclear power stations

A device is used which comprises a bundle of axially parallel tubes with a coaxial hub tube which has a twist paddle wheel at its inlet and a reverse paddle wheel at its outlet. A circular chamber surrounds the tube outlet ends to which the water-steam mixture is supplied via a circular slit and which is connected with the twist flow chamber via bores to reconduct the steam.
