<p>Low-viscosity liquid is forced through the spinneret holes under pressure. Pref. the liquid is filtered, and is fed in upstream of the spinneret. The pressure is measured when the liquid covers at least the perforated zone of the spinneret. The liquid is recycled; it is pref. of water or acetone. The filter has a threshold below the hole dia. Several spinnerets can be tested in the same apparatus, with their axes parallel.</p> |
