<p>Wood shaving building plates are produced continuously with coating layers on at least one side, as in NL 126 715, whilst the glass fibre web is impregnated with a binding agent consisting of a suspension of caustic magnesite in magnesium salt lye and synthetic electrolyte-resistant resin binder compatible with the magnesite suspension, particularly one based on polyvinyl acetate or phenolic resin and in the form of an aqueous mixture. The prepared glass fibre web is fed into the moulding machine simultaneously with the moulding material. Specifically, the binding agent contains, per 12 parts by weight, 6-12 parts by wt. of magnesium sulphate solution of 17 degrees Be, 6-12 parts by wt. of water and 1-2 parts by wt. of the electrolyte resistant resin binder on polyvinyl acetate base.</p> |
