A floor rack for supporting goods during cold storage comprises a rigid plate 7 having substantially equally spaced air flow apertures 8 and substantially equally spaced studs 9 (only three of which are shown) for supporting storage boxes 5 above the surface of the plate. The boxes have air flow openings 6 in their bottoms, tops, and optionally, sides, and the plate is supported by blocks 10 joined by laths 11. The plate 7 is itself formed of two plates which are glued together in the manner shown to form an air sealing overlap between adjacent racks. The studs may be glued or screwed to the plate or a plate cover made of rubber or plastics may be formed with integral studs. |
