<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water producing device and method which can efficiently generate slightly acidic or slightly alkaline electrolytic water and can mass-produce the electrolytic water, and to provide the electrolytic water. <P>SOLUTION: The electrolytic water producing device 10 comprises an anode chamber 20 provided with an anode electrode 22, a cathode chamber 30 provided with a cathode electrode 32, an intermediate chamber 40 interposed between the anode chamber 20 and the cathode chamber 30 to store an electrolyte aqueous solution, an anion exchange membrane 24 separating the anode chamber 20 and the intermediate chamber 40, and a cation exchange membrane 34 separating the cathode chamber 30 and the intermediate chamber 40.
