Changes in latitude and longitude detected by means described in Specification 985, 977 are converted into rotations of shafts 26 which drive cyclometer type counters. An indication is thus given in digits on counters 100, 100a while the relevant points of the compass are given by lights 70, 71, 80, 81. In passing the equator or the poles, the meridian or anti-meridian a switch 51 or 51X is operated to reverse the appropriate counterdriving motor and affect the panel of lights. |
