A method of determining the current output of pelleting press includes control of the level of granulated material in the column, which during operation of press is continuously maintained at structurally substantiated setting by change of the unloader rotor speed at the output of cooling column. The output of the pelleting press is determined as the value directly proportional to the algebraic sum of this rotary speed and rate of change of the level in the column.
