Appts. for metering liquids or gases, esp. at least two such liquids or gases one of which is under pressure, comprises a feed channel through which a liquid under pressure enters; a discharge channel for the discharge of the metered liquids or gases; a valve between the feed and discharge channels connecting them together when open, with means for keeping it closed until the pressure of the incoming liquid or gas has reached a specified value; a secondary channel connecting the feed and discharge channels and incorporating a Venturi tube; a feed pipe controlled by a non-return valve for the product to be metered, opening into the Venturi tube which sucks this product in by virtue of the reduced pressure therein.
